How do you organize group CPR, First Aid, BLS, or ACLS training for a team? Check the requirements that apply, choose a course for each role, plan the budget and schedule, request training, host the class, then record cards and track renewals. These free guides, browser tools, and downloads cover each step, and none of them books a class.

**What this section is:** free guides, browser tools, and downloads for people who organize group CPR and AED, First Aid, BLS, or ACLS training for a team, from choosing courses and arranging the class to hosting it and keeping cards current. Tool answers are processed in your browser and are not submitted to QKC Health. You choose whether to copy, download, or send a summary through our contact form.

**What it is not:** a booking system or a price quote. Using a tool does not book a class or send a request. A request through the [contact page](https://qkchealth.com/contact/) is not a booking either: a booking is confirmed only when we confirm the course, date, time, and location in writing. Confirm the course and card your employer, school or program, licensing board, or state rules require before you register.

## Plan and Budget Group Training

Start with the group training planner, then work out costs and plan sessions across shifts and sites.

- [On-Site Group CPR Training Planner](https://qkchealth.com/resources/group-cpr-training-planner/): Interactive toolGroup planning Start here: answer questions about courses, headcount, sessions, timing, and the training room, then copy or download a plain-text summary for your training request. It collects planning details only; dates, prices, and bookings are confirmed in writing.
- [Group CPR Training Costs: Budgeting and Comparing Quotes](https://qkchealth.com/resources/group-cpr-training-cost/): Guide and calculatorBudgeting See what a quote is built from, add your own costs such as paid staff time and shift coverage, and compare proposals for the same course, card, participants, and terms. The calculator works only with amounts you enter; it shows no prices and is not a quote.
- [Scheduling Group Training Across Shifts and Locations](https://qkchealth.com/resources/scheduling-group-cpr-training/): Guide and worksheetShifts and sites Build participant groups by shift, site, and course while enough staff and trained responders stay on duty, and plan for people who miss a class or have not finished the AHA online part. It helps you plan; we confirm dates and times in writing.

## Choose Courses and a Training Provider

Check the written requirements, match each group to a course QKC Health lists, and know what to ask any provider.

- [Which Course Does Your Team Need?](https://qkchealth.com/resources/team-cpr-course-selector/): Guide and toolCourse comparison Compare the courses QKC Health lists, split a mixed team into course groups by role and written requirement, and see which questions to confirm first. The selector suggests options only; your employer, licensing board, or program decides which card each person needs.
- [Group Class Formats: Classroom Training and Skills Sessions](https://qkchealth.com/resources/group-cpr-class-formats/): GuideComparison table Compare full classroom courses, renewal courses, and skills sessions that follow the AHA online part of HeartCode BLS or HeartCode ACLS, then sort your group by pathway. It covers only the formats QKC Health lists and does not decide which one your requirement accepts.
- [Planning BLS and ACLS Group Training for Healthcare Teams](https://qkchealth.com/resources/healthcare-team-bls-acls-training/): GuideBLS and ACLS Sort clinical roles, keep BLS and ACLS credentials separate, split first-time and renewal participants, check prerequisites, and protect clinical coverage while staff train. It does not decide which roles must hold ACLS; your employer and licensing rules do.
- [Workplace CPR and First Aid Requirements: What to Verify](https://qkchealth.com/resources/workplace-cpr-first-aid-requirements/): Guide and checklistOfficial sources Find the rules that apply to your workplace in official sources, from OSHA and state plans to state laws, licensing boards, contracts, and insurers, and learn how to read a requirement. It is not legal advice and does not decide whether your plan meets a rule.
- [How to Choose a Group CPR Training Provider](https://qkchealth.com/resources/choosing-cpr-training-provider/): Guide and checklistProvider questions Ask any provider about the exact course and card, how to check that an AHA card comes through an authorized Training Center, hands-on practice and testing, card delivery, and written terms. It is a neutral checklist and does not compare named providers.
- [CPR, BLS and ACLS Course Finder](https://qkchealth.com/resources/cpr-course-finder/): Interactive toolOne person at a time Answer a few questions to match one person's role, card status, and preferred format to an AHA course and the matching QKC Health class. It suggests a course; the employer, school or program, or licensing board decides which card that person needs.

To compare BLS Provider with Heartsaver CPR AED, read [BLS vs CPR: What's the Difference?](https://qkchealth.com/resources/bls-vs-cpr/) Course details are on QKC Health's class pages: see [all classes](https://qkchealth.com/classes/), or [workplace training](https://qkchealth.com/classes/workplace-training/) for classes at your site.

## Host the Class at Your Site

Get the room, the building, and the participants ready before class day.

- [Hosting a Group Class: Setup and Participant Preparation](https://qkchealth.com/resources/hosting-group-cpr-class/): Guide and downloadsClass day logistics Get your site and your people ready: the training room, building access and check-in, accommodation requests, participant messages, course preparation, and attendance records. It covers the host side of the day; we confirm course details with you in writing.
- [BLS and ACLS Pre-Course Checklists](https://qkchealth.com/resources/bls-acls-precourse-prep/): Printable checklistsParticipant prep Share these with BLS and ACLS participants: a checklist for each course and format covers precourse work, what to bring and wear, what to review, and claiming the eCard. They link to official AHA study materials and include no exam questions.

## Keep Cards and Renewals on Track

AHA course completion cards are valid for two years, through the end of the Renew By month shown on the card. Keep the records, and plan renewals before cards run out.

- [After the Class: Course Cards and Team Training Records](https://qkchealth.com/resources/cpr-course-cards-training-records/): Guide and checklistRecords Learn how AHA eCards are issued and verified, how to handle name corrections and lost cards, and what to hand to HR or compliance and keep private. It explains your records; card corrections and replacements go through the Training Center that issued the card.
- [How to Track Employee CPR, BLS and ACLS Renewals](https://qkchealth.com/resources/employee-cpr-certification-tracking/): Guide and workbookRenewal records Set up a renewal process: record the Renew By month from each card, name a records owner and a backup, review on a schedule, and plan renewal groups so nobody lapses while waiting for a group date. The workbook stays on your device and sends no reminders.
- [CPR and BLS Renewal Planner](https://qkchealth.com/resources/cpr-renewal-planner/): Interactive toolTeam tracker Enter the Renew By month from a card to see its last valid day and a suggested renewal window, or keep a team list in your browser and export a CSV file or calendar reminders. It works from the date on each card; employers and licensing rules may set their own schedule.

For AED inspections, emergency response drills, and first aid kit records between classes, use the [AED Inspection Checklist and Readiness Toolkit](https://qkchealth.com/resources/workplace-aed-readiness-toolkit/).

## How to Use These Resources

A typical order for organizing group training. Skip any step you have already covered.

1. **Check the requirements.** Find the written rules that apply to your team before you choose a course: employer policy, licensing boards, state rules, contracts, and insurers. Start with [Workplace CPR and First Aid Requirements: What to Verify](https://qkchealth.com/resources/workplace-cpr-first-aid-requirements/) or the guide for your setting.
2. **Choose courses.** Use [Which Course Does Your Team Need?](https://qkchealth.com/resources/team-cpr-course-selector/) to sort people by role and written requirement. Then check the class formats in [Group Class Formats: Classroom Training and Skills Sessions](https://qkchealth.com/resources/group-cpr-class-formats/).
3. **Plan and budget.** Use the [On-Site Group CPR Training Planner](https://qkchealth.com/resources/group-cpr-training-planner/) for headcount, sessions, and the room, then build your budget with [Group CPR Training Costs: Budgeting and Comparing Quotes](https://qkchealth.com/resources/group-cpr-training-cost/).
4. **Request training.** Send your planning summary through the [contact page](https://qkchealth.com/contact/) or call [(212) 548-3284](tel:2125483284). Under QKC Health's [Terms of Service](https://qkchealth.com/terms/), most courses require a minimum of three participants, and ACLS is available to individual participants. A request is not a booking: a booking is confirmed only when we confirm the course, date, time, and location in writing.
5. **Host the class.** Prepare the room, building access, and participants with [Hosting a Group Class: Setup and Participant Preparation](https://qkchealth.com/resources/hosting-group-cpr-class/) and the [BLS and ACLS Pre-Course Checklists](https://qkchealth.com/resources/bls-acls-precourse-prep/).
6. **Record the cards.** Collect card details after the class and hand records to the right people with [After the Class: Course Cards and Team Training Records](https://qkchealth.com/resources/cpr-course-cards-training-records/).
7. **Track renewals.** Record each Renew By month and review the list on a schedule with [How to Track Employee CPR, BLS and ACLS Renewals](https://qkchealth.com/resources/employee-cpr-certification-tracking/) or the [CPR and BLS Renewal Planner](https://qkchealth.com/resources/cpr-renewal-planner/).

## Group Training Resources: Frequently Asked Questions

### Where do I start if I have never organized group training?

Start with the written requirement for each group of people, from your employer, a licensing board, a school or program, or state rules, because they decide which course and card each person needs. Then sort people into courses, plan the details with the group training planner, and send that summary through the contact page as a training request.

### Are these group training resources free?

Yes. The guides, tools, and downloads in this section are free, and you do not need an account to use them. They are planning aids written by QKC Health. Training itself is quoted per course and confirmed in writing before the class, under QKC Health's Terms of Service.

### Does using a planner or calculator book a class?

No. The planners, calculators, checklists, and downloads only help you organize your own information, and they do not contact us. To ask for training, send a request through the contact page or call. Under QKC Health's Terms of Service, a request is not a booking: a booking is confirmed only when we confirm the course, date, time, and location in writing.

### Is anything I enter in these tools stored or sent?

Tool answers are not submitted to QKC Health. Most tools keep answers only while the page is open, so copy or download a summary before leaving. The renewal planner's team tracker saves its list in that browser until you clear it. You decide where to save files and whether to submit a summary through our contact form. Page analytics follow your cookie preference.

### What file formats are the downloads?

They are Excel workbooks, Word documents, and PDF files with no macros or automatic submission feature. You choose where to save completed files. Keep personal information to what you need, and store completed files where only the right people can see them.

### What should I have ready before I request group training?

It helps to know which courses you need, about how many people need each one, how many sessions or shifts you need, where training would take place, and your preferred months, days, and times. Under QKC Health's Terms of Service, most courses require a minimum of three participants, and ACLS is available to individual participants. The group training planner gathers these details into one summary.
